Edelweiss (Poster) – SONGÜL BOYRAZ

“Edelweiss” is the title of one of the several collaboration shows of Franz West. Edelweiss is also a well-known Alpine flower in Austria and it is very common to combine it with the Alpine traditional folk customs.

For this show Franz asked me if I have an art work in white color. My idea was to make a poster and use all the stereotype patterns and traditional costumes of the Alps. He was very excited of this idea. In the process of making the collage Franz West added the title and the font.
